Where It Began
Welcome to my page! I'm Mai Neng ("Mining" for easier pronunciation). I probably fell in love with photography because my father did too. As a child, I remember he was always behind the camera or camcorder. He taught me to see the world through a lens, not just with my eyes. Flash forward, I get married to the love of my life, who purchased the Sony A7ii to film fishing content. After a few months, I decided to pick up the camera and you already know, the rest is history.

Shared Passion
Once I got comfortable with the camera, I began to offer as many free sessions as I could. Over time, my skills/captures slowly improved and I started charging for my session. Honestly, I didn't realize I was falling in love with something I was familiar with-- capturing special moments for others, like my father.

Connection
Today, my father is no longer with us. Every click of the shutter now feels like a connection to my father, a shared passion that continues to develop with every photograph I take.
